Flood Dec 2007

Wow, what a wet few days. Please pray for all the home, families and schools that have been affected by the flooding. CCS (where the kids go to school) has had some damage. 18 inches of water was inside the school. It covered the gym and it is going to take a lot of work and money to get this place straightened out. The work done already has been amazing. What an awesome dedication by the staff and volunteers. As of Wednesday night, 2 feet around on the walls has been cut out of the drywall and all the carpet has been pulled up. Check Komo 4 news, tonight at 11pm.
We decided to cancel school until January 2nd to give the crews enough time to disinfect and to work thru the school. Also, now's a good to request some prayer for all the families that are going to have their kids out on extended Christmas break.
Below are some photos that we snapped with our camera. Its only a tiny little sliver of what has been going on.
It's been pretty interesting around our house with the rescue helicopters landing at the football stadium right across the road. We have seen scores of coast guard helicopters and even the governor a few times.

Here is a picture of the last 4 people on earth (man it was eerie walking on the overpass on exit 76)

Another shot on exit 76.
