Time for a "Poo"

Continued thank yous to all that are praying for us, for those that have brought stuff by, for flowers, for taking the kids for a while, for emptying the drains, for just being with us. I know this is just the start of a long and tough road ahead, but with God on all of our sides, how can we go wrong?

Janis is doing well, she is resting well, the pain is under control and she isn't even having to take all her pain meds to keep it under control.

Turns out Janis needed a poo. It had been a couple days since she last had one. There has been lots of stress, lots of procedures, plenty of appointments, sleeping on the couch, lots of things that has made her need for a poo even greater-and you know how meds can affect you...We hadn't even thought about this as a need-something that we simply took for granted. The time had come and Janis couldn't take it any longer and we needed to make a phone call to make it happen. So, less than 24 hours after coming home, Janis got her first post-op poo. I took her downtown for her poo. Thank you to Kerri and Gina for helping out and taking care of Janis' shampoo-her hair smells and feels great and she is feeling good too.

Only a man could come up with this post! I am glad to see that you are keeping your sense of humor, Jeff.
Thanks for all the updates. Wish we could be available to do more for you guys -- but for now we are happy to intercede on your behalf.
Give Janis a very gentle hug for me!

Dude you rock!! You totally had me and I thought for sure Janis would clean up with you when she read this.

Seriously Jeff, You guys are an amazing example of faith and strength for all of us who complain about the little things in our life's, ... like no poo paper upstairs and your the only one home!
