Home Again

Janis is home, doing really well. Got home, after a stop at the pharmacy, at about 12:10. She looks as beautiful as ever. After fasting yesterday, her appetite is doing well today. Pain has been under control so far, and she has meds to keep on top of the situation. It sure feels good to be home and one more step along the recovery path.

She has two drain tubes (one for the mastectomy and one for the lymph node area)....I have been trained on how to change the reservoirs. So anyone anxious to help out, come on over and I have something you can help out with.

Really, Janis is doing great. Thanks for your prayers, they sure helped out with the surgery and start of the recover process.

Jeff,
Keep up your awesome sense of humor and know that you are all in my prayers as well. I'm so glad everything went really well. And - "she is as beautiful as ever" - could you be any sweeter??

Jeff you are an amazing creature. I couldn't even remember to go out into the waiting room and tell my family that they had a new grandchild. You make us all look bad, by taking good care of your family and keeping us all up to date. I love ya, but quit showing off. My wife is starting to ask questions that I can't answer.

All our prayers are with you guys. Let us know if you need dinner or someone to go to the grocery store, wash the car....anything, and I will get Meyer on it right away.

Love ya-
