Let's make a DATE

The big date is set. Its amazing when you can see God in action, opening doors and busy medical schedules to get this done. Janis' mastectomy is set for this Thursday. We have pre-op appointments at Capital Medical Center this Wednesday at 2:30, with an additional appointment where they inject some radioactive dye so the lymph nodes can be checked the next day during surgery. Stop by the house Wednesday night to watch Janis glow. Ha Ha!

On Thursday, we need to check into CMC at 9am, they are going to scan the nodes and then the surgery will take place a bit later. Assuming all goes well, Janis should be home Friday.

Both of our folks will be in town taking care of the kids for the first couple nights.

I plan on taking my laptop with me and will be blogging as I can, with any results I can-check back for more!

Thanks for the prayers and all the support.

We love you guys and are praying moment by moment with you. I heard this verse mentioned on the radio today, wanted to pass it on.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us!"
Your testimony of faith is a blessing to so many around you!

I bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me.
I keep the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices;
my body also rests secure.
Psalms 16:7-9
My prayers and love are wrapped up around you!
