Words of Encouragement

Thanks again to all that have dropped by, have called, have sent cards, and flowers. Thank you very much and know that they are all very much appreciated. Please don't ever let up! It means more that you can imagine!

We have been sent so many words of encouragement that I wanted to pass them along to y'all as well.

Joshua 1:9 ...the Lord your God is with you wherever you go...His love will give you strength. His strength will see you through.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee, yea, I will help thee, yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

1 Peter 5:7 Casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.

Romans 8:39 Neither height nor depth, nor anything else is all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ jesus our Lord.

Jeremiah 29:11 'For I know the plans I have for you,' declares the Lord, 'plans to propser you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and future.'

Zephaniah 3:17 'The Lord you Gos is with you...He will quiet you with His love....'

Matthew 28:20 "Be assured, I am with you always..."

I missed you both at Sunday school today! As usual, I was really quiet and reserved, but then I had to tell some embarrassing story about meeting Sammy Hagar (or at least his band members). Rob asked us if we had ever seen anyone famous. Would you believe that two of us had seen David Hasselhoff? Better yet, one of them was me! Anyway, none of that means much, but I just wanted to give you an idea of the depth and quality of the fellowship you missed today.

Church was great. Sister Marianna from Mexico was there and she shared a beautiful and touching testimony about her own life. Wish you could have been there.

I hope that you are feeling stronger everyday Janis. I pray that your body is healing much faster than seems possible.

It seems so much easier to reply to "words of encouragement" rather than the "Poo" blog. I didn't know quite what to say that would fit into that topic. I should have asked one of the three boys in my house, they could have come up with a bunch of ideas. I am sure that Janis knows where I am coming from on that one.

Love and prayer and blessings to all of you.
